NEW COLLECTION: ZINC AND KIRKBY

ZINC – SAVILLE ROW INSPIRED COLLECTION

Originality and cutting edge design are at the forefront of the Zinc Textile Brand. Seductive, tactile and urban, Zinc takes its inspiration from the heady heights of 1970’s style.

Zinc Textile is launching five new collections: Sartorial - decorative weaves and prints, Bonheur – decorative weaves and sheers, Teatro – decorative weaves, Form – textured weaves and Mulliner – decorative velvets and weaves.

This season sees Zinc Textile strut into the world of couture apparel, drawing inspiration from some of the late great designers’ and London’s sartorial institution - Savile Row. His and hers of the fashion world, the Bonheur and Sartorial collections have distinct feminine and masculine personalities; rich boucle, textural velvet and tantalisingly soft chenille sit in playful contrast with sharp pinstripes, dandy paisleys and a slick houndstooth.

Zinc has explored specialist velvets in the Mulliner collection, sculptural elements and textures through the many different weave structures in the Form collection and taken a theatrical approach with the Teatro collection, developing the new Zinc Textile classics, and re-introducing some of the most celebrated designs from the past.

A gentle spectrum of natural hues is punctuated with vibrant pops of colour, including hot pink, cinnamon orange and peacock teal. Classic Zinc metallics are a continuous nod to the influential 1970s, while a polished palette of deep navy, gunmetal grey and soft taupe offers a charismatic alternative.
