We are pleased to announce that Pepe Peñalver has created two new beautiful collections for 2017, California and People of Africa. Exploring the west coast of The United States, Pepe Peñalver draws us into the origins of the surf with its new collection, California. Inspired by its beautiful beaches and its colorful and vintage air neighbourhood look, its designs, transport us to the most emblematic corners of California in the 60s.
In this new collection, upholstered textures coexist with small geometries and iconic designs, sailor stripes and prints in linen, creating this way, a fresh, attractive and confident proposal. The eternal summer of the Californian coast shines in all its splendor with yellow and turquoise tones, soft white and gray shades and intense red and blue colors.
People of Africa by Pepe Peñalver traces the history of African aboriginals through their culture, majestic wildlife and clothing, where fabrics play an important role in identity, forming part of a visual language. This magical culture, connected to the land and tradition, has inspired a collection full of rich designs, textures and vibrant colours that will adorn the home, creating elegant and sophisticated spaces.
People of Africa collection is composed of upholstery textures, velvet jacquards and satin prints. Natural and geometric patterns are combined with modern tribal motifs. The richness and nuance of colour found on the African continent are represented beautifully with earth tones, ochre, rust, soft beige and green.
